A Simplistic, Classic Wedding Styled Shoot at Hodsock Priory, Nottinghamshire

As a Nottingham & Yorkshire wedding photographer...

...I’ve never had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at Hodsock Priory at Blyth, Worksop, and when I visited for a Photobooth booking with Aurora & Co back in December 2019, I couldn’t get over the sheer beauty of this place and couldn’t wait to be back to photograph someday!

So the dream team got back together, but this time Steph planned a styled shoot that was going to be a more classical style, with bright whites and pastel tones, simplicity with a hint of tradition, to match this stunning venue.

Hodsock Priory

Worksop, Nottinghamshire

It has a real elegant but welcoming feel to it, with cosy lounge areas, ballrooms, a lake and acres of gardens that are beautifully kept.

This place is completely breath taking. Hodsock Priory is a historic country house wedding venue set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. This family home has been fully restored a luxury, award-winning, wedding and event venue with a classic elegant feel to it. And not only does Hodsock Priory feature it’s very own Tudor Gatehouse outside, it also has a lake, beautiful kept gardens and woodlands. With so many location options available both inside and out, this venue really is a photographers dream, and the fact you get full exclusivity on your wedding day is amazing.

Huge thank you to the Hodsock Priory team for giving us permission to use your beautiful venue.

The Suppliers

All the suppliers involved on the day were absolutely wonderful to work with, and I’m so pleased that we managed to pull together something so fabulous in the short amount of time we had on the day.

I hope you love these images just as much as I do, and I’m looking forward to coming back to Hodsock Priory hopefully in the near future!
